Refund policy

At Myth & Clay, each piece is handmade and listed individually. Natural variations in glaze, surface texture, color tone, firing marks, and hand-painted details are part of the character of handmade ceramics.

Returns

We accept return requests within 30 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return, the item must be returned in its original condition, with no signs of use, washing, stains, scratches, or damage, and in its original packaging.

To request a return, please contact us at hello@mythandclay.com with your order number and a brief reason for the return.

Once your return request is approved, we will provide the return address and return instructions by email.

For returns not related to damage, defect, or fulfillment error, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.

Items sent back without contacting us first may not be accepted.

We do not charge a restocking fee.

We do not offer exchanges for non-defective items. If you would like a different piece, please place a new order after your return is approved.

Original shipping fees, including paid express shipping fees, are non-refundable unless the return is due to damage, defect, or fulfillment error.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order when it arrives.

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us at hello@mythandclay.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the item, packaging, shipping label, and issue.

Once verified, we will help resolve the issue through a replacement, refund, partial refund, or store credit, depending on the situation.

For damaged, defective, or incorrect items caused by shipping or fulfillment error, we will usually not ask you to return the original item unless we need it to review or resolve the issue.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect an approved return, we will notify you of the outcome.

If approved, refunds are typically processed within 2 business days after inspection. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to post the refund.

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
